An east or west-facing windowsill is an absolutely ideal choice. However, strictly protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays, which will instantly burn its leaves and flowers.

• 💧 Watering: Regular but very careful. The anthurium likes evenly slightly moist soil, but it is extremely sensitive to overwatering! Allow the top layer of soil (about 3-5 cm deep) to dry slightly between watering. It absolutely cannot tolerate roots sitting in standing water in the saucer, which will quickly cause root rot and plant death.

• 🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives at warm room temperature. As a true tropical forest dweller, it literally adores high air humidity (a humidifier or regular misting will be very helpful to prevent leaf tips from drying out and to ensure smooth flower opening). Strictly protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes!
